We have the equipment and expertise to provide you with a full thermal image report, covering the engine, alternator connections and cable connections through to the change-over protective devices.
Thermal imaging reports are often used in conjunction with the load test and highlights potential problem areas before they become an issue. This diagnostic tool helps determine the severity of the problem and establishes the time frame in which the equipment should be repaired.
Thermal imaging is commonly used for electrical inspection and if connections become loose there is a resistance to current that can cause an increase in temperature. If left unchecked, heat can rise to a point where connections melt and break the circuit - a potential fire risk.
Besides loose connections, electrical systems suffer from load imbalances, corrosion and increase in impedance to current. Thermal imaging can quickly locate hot spots and problem areas.
Whilst we are on site with the diagnostic tool you can also take advantage of this service to check other equipment that you may have concerns with, so please contact our sales team to arrange a visit.
