ISO9001 - Quality Management System for the supplier of specialised spares and generator sets to the generating industry.

ISO 9001 is the internationally recognised standard for the quality management of businesses. It applies to the processes that create and control the products and services an organisation supplies. It prescribes systematic control of activities to ensure that the needs and expectations of customers are met. It is designed and intended to apply to virtually any product or service, made by any process anywhere in the world.

As our Statement of Intent says - we 'provide and maintain safe and healthy working conditions for all employees, contractors and visitors. We also accept our responsibilities for the environment and the health and safety of all persons who may be affected by our activities'.

We have always had a Health and Safety Policy but over the years it has grown and grown into an important document to all our stakeholders.

In June 2004 we achieved accreditation of our Quality management System, ISO 9001:2000 - we have been regularly reassessed since then and we have been recommended for the continuation of registration.Working closely with our stakeholders, ensures that P & I can maintain an effective Quality Management System which enforces our continued commitment to Quality and Customer Satisfaction.
