On Wednesday 3rd March P & I director Paul Benfield and office Maggie Bentley went for a lunch time presentation at Portsmouth's Spinnaker Tower by the NHS Plus Portsmouth Team and for an opportunity to ask questions about the Health for Work Advice line for the Portsmouth region, attended by the Minister for the South East, Jonathan Shaw.
Small business P & I Generators Ltd called the advice line, "We wanted our engineers, who are often working in contaminated water, to be vaccinated. But when we rang our local health centre we were told that each engineer would have to make an appointment with their own doctor. I rang the advice line, and we have now arranged for a medical nurse to visit the site to vaccinate all our employees. This is a huge advantage for us in terms of the limited time and resources we have at our disposal." Paul Benfield, Director.
