CHAS SAYS P & I's SAFE & HEALTHY!

After several months of hard work by our Quality Assurance Department the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) have assessed us as compliant and are to be added to P & I's growing list of accreditations. CHAS has been developed by Local Authority health and safety and procurement professionals, with the support of the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). The aim of the scheme is to offer one accreditation system for public and private sector organisations to look for when selecting a contractor.

MD Paul Benfield comments: "This assessment by the CHAS organisation is recognition of the commitment by P & I Generators Ltd to not only comply with but to continuously improve health and safety at work. It will help us to further develop our services in the generator industry and provide our customers with the assurance of a continued problem solving and solution advising specialist business, now with the added benefit of CHAS accreditation".

Now we are accredited to CHAS, potential customers can rest assured that with P & I they have chosen a supplier to tender or carry out work that meets all of the acceptable standards of health and safety compliance as set out by the relevant governing bodies.
