What our CHAS assessor says:
"Further to the receipt of the company's application and supporting information I can confirm this has been found to be of
an extremely high standard, meeting and in many places exceeding the criteria necessary, I would like to take this opportunity to commend
your efforts to develop, implement, maintain and enhance the management systems in place."

CHAS - The Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme
CHAS monitors and helps direct our health and safety performance as well as being an advisor for any questions we have or information we need regarding health and safety. We are audited on this annually and have to comply with strict CHAS guidelines in order to remain accredited.
To continually improve our high quality performance and to give our customers the confidence that we are assessed by outside agencies, in December 2008 - and after several months of hard work by our Quality Assurance Department - the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) assessed us as compliant.
CHAS has been developed by Local Authority health and safety and procurement professionals, with the support of the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). The aim of the scheme is to offer one accreditation system for public and private sector organisations to look for when selecting a contractor.
This assessment by the CHAS organisation is recognition of the commitment by P & I Generators Ltd to not only comply with but to continuously improve health and safety at work. It helps us to further develop our services in the generator industry and provide our customers with the assurance of a continued problem solving and solution advising specialist business, now with the added benefit of CHAS accreditation.
Since accreditation to CHAS, potential customers can rest assured that with P & I they have chosen a supplier to tender or carry out work that meets all of the acceptable standards of health and safety compliance as set out by the relevant governing bodies.
